PROMOTIONS is pleased to announce a new international production, called “Duelo en el Oeste/Duel in the West” to be held this Friday, July 27, starting the first match at 7:00 p.m. (ET) at the Municipal Micro-Stadium of the Hurlingham Party, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, which will be televised for the entire Argentine territory and a large part of Latin America through TyC Sports and TyC Sports Play, starting at 10:00 p.m. (ET).

In the main event, WBO Interim Latino Welterweight Champion Diego “Chacarero” Ramírez (15-1, 3 KOs) will battle fellow countryman Sergio Manuel “Junior” Liendo (12-4-0, 3 KO) in a 10-round fight.

RAMÍREZ, 23 years old, born in the city of Coronda, is going through the best moment of his career. After a 2017 with victories over Nahuel Galessi, Ezequiel Vargas, Diego Luque, Jonathan Casafú and Damián Yapur – for the title he will defend this Friday-; consolidated his present in the current year, where he defeated by points Martin Bulacio and Walter Castillo on his first WBO Interim Latino title defense. It should be noted that in addition to its regional achievements, it holds the first place in the Argentine ranking.

LIENDO JR, 24 years old, born in the city of Río Cuarto, is the son of the former Argentine, South American and Latin super bantamweight champion, Sergio Rafael Liendo. His debut as a professional goes back to November 2013, where he knocked out Mario González in the first round. Left-handed guard and refined technique, he was able to defeat names such as Pablo Joel Fernandez, Jonathan Casafu, Paulo Milla and Gabriel Funes, among others. In 2018 he was defeated by Juan Jose Velasco after a KO loss in the seventh round. Now he has recovered the victorious path with two victories.

PROMOTIONS tiene el agrado de anunciar una nueva producción internacional, denominada “Duelo en el Oeste” a efectuarse el próximo viernes 27 de julio, a partir de las 19:00 horas, en el Microestadio Municipal del partido de Hurlingham, provincia de Buenos Aires, República Argentina, que será televisada desde las 22:00 para todo el territorio argentino y gran parte de América Latina por la pantalla de TyC Sports y TyC Sports Play, a través del ciclo pugilístico por excelencia: “Boxeo de Primera”.

En el combate estelar de la noche, se pondrá en juego el título latino interino wélter/66.678 kg de la Organización Mundial de Boxeo (OMB), que expondrá por segunda ocasión el promisorio santafesino de Coronda, Diego “Chacarero” Ramírez (15-1-0, 3 KO), en esta oportunidad frente al aguerrido retador cordobés de Río Cuarto, Sergio Manuel “Junior” Liendo (12-4-0, 3 KO). El combate estará pactado a la distancia de diez asaltos de 3×1.

Luego de un 2017 con victorias sobre Nahuel Galessi, Ezequiel Vargas, Diego Luque, Jonathan Casafú y Damián Yapur —logrando el cetro que defenderá este viernes—; consolidó su presente en el corriente año, donde derrotó por puntos a Martín Bulacio —allí se coronó con el latino plata mediano CMB— y Walter Castillo —primera defensa del latino wélter int. OMB—. Cabe remarcar que además de sus logros regionales, ostenta el primer puesto en el ranking argentino de los 66,678 kilogramos.

LIENDO JR, nacido en la ciudad de Río Cuarto hace 24 años —3/7/1994—, es hijo del ex campeón argentino, sudamericano y latino supergallo, Sergio Rafael Liendo. Su inicio como profesional se remonta a noviembre de 2013, donde noqueó en el primer giro a Mario González. De guardia zurda y técnica depurada, supo derrotar a nombres como Pablo Joel Fernández, Jonathan Casafu, Paulo Milla y Gabriel Funes, entre otros. En 2018 fue superado por Juan Jose Velasco tras un KO 7, recuperando la senda victoriosa con dos victorias en hilera, ambas por puntos, sobre el complicado riojano, Marcelo Ezequiel Vargas.

Asimismo, se desarrollarán tres disputas profesionales de respaldo, que iniciarán a las 21:30. Las entradas se podrán obtener en puerta con precios de $200 (popular) y $300 (ring side).
