Dear WBO Officials:

I hope this letter finds everyone safe and well during these challenging times. As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has presented extraordinary challenges to all professional sports globally, and boxing is no exception. Notwithstanding the preceding, the boxing community has undertaken proactive steps to resume activities, including continuing education seminars to enhance the development of our officials for the betterment of our sport and the safety and well-being of its participants.

The World Boxing Organization has been characterized by the professionalism, capacity, and performance of its officials. We are constantly encouraging our members’ compliance with our seminars and applicable exams and participating in every activity that would reinforce the knowledge of the relevant boxing rules and regulations.

Therefore, considering the foregoing, I am pleased to officially announce that the WBO Referee’s Seminar will be presented via “Zoom Conference,” by International World Championship Referee, Mr. Jack Reiss on behalf of “Sole Arbiter” in conjunction with renowned boxing judge, Mr. Pat Russell.
