WBO 36th Congress Opening Ceremony & Invocation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!

In a beautiful morning in Punta Cana, highly regarded Referee Jack Reiss hosted a well crowded ABC Referee seminar where participants all around the world traveled to Dominican Republic to learn from the well respect Sole Arbiter.

In one of the dynamics of the seminar, the two-division world champion Iván Calderón and the former world challenger Norbelto Jiménez carried out several fight scenarios under the instructions of Jack Reiss so that the referees could decipher their actions.

Dr. Michael González and Dr. Jorge Miranda Massari presented “Metabolic Correction for Physiological Optimization in Boxing”.

Seminar by Dr. Juan Carlos Devia Ramos was interactive and very helpful. Thank you for being part.

Dr. Irydia Pellegrini Verduzco gave an impressive presentation about regenerative medicine.

At the cocktail gathering, several boxing superstars, such as Emanuel Navarrete, Oscar Valdez, Miguel Coto, Junto Nakatani, Ivan Calderon were present. Live music by Mariachis.

During the meeting of boxing personalities and WBO officials, the undisputed female champion of 154 and 160 pounds and WBO Super Champion Claressa Shields, was honored with a beautiful painting and plaque from the WBO for the award of Special Recognition for her historic achievements.
