Announcement Regarding Omar Nino Romero

The World Boxing Organization was informed by Keith Kizer, Executive Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission that Omar Nino Romero had a disciplinary fine in the amount of $11,250.00 pending since 2006. 

WBO President, Francisco Valcarcel contacted Chairman Hon. Juan Ramon Guanzon, from the Games and Amusement Board in the Philippines to inform him that the scheduled WBO Flyweight Championship Bout between Brian Viloria and Omar Nino Romero to be held on March 31, 2012 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City, Manila, Philippines was pending sanction until such time when the fine was appropriately dealt with.

Valcarcel has also informed Mr. Fernando Beltran from Promociones Zanfer, and Viloria’s manager, Mr. Gary Gittlesohn that when the monies are deposited in NSAC, the scheduled bout will be sanctioned.
