Mabuza arrives in Namibia
South African boxer Kaizer Mabuza arrived in Namibia on Tuesday in preparation for his fight against Namibia’s Betuel ‘Tyson’ Ushona on Saturday.
The fight, which will see Ushona defending his WBO Africa welterweight title, will be the main curtain raiser fight before Paulus Moses takes on Leonardo Gonzales in the main fight of Saturday’s boxing bonanza at Ramatex.
Mabuza has a solid record of 25 wins, 9 losses and 3 draws.
Mabuza is accompanied by his trainer Manny Fernandez, his manager Sonja Fernandez and sparring partner Nkosinathi Ntshangase who will challenge Martin Haikali on the undercard.
The two fighters will come face to face for the first time at Wernhil Park at 11h30 on Wednesday. At the same occasion Moses will face off with Gonzalez while Vikapita Meroro, who will defend his WBO Africa cruiserweight title, will come face to face with his opponent Pascal Ndoma of Tanzania.
Members of the public are invited to attend the press conference where complimentary tickets for the fight can be won.
